I keep trying to figure out how to make fanmixes but all it ends up is turning them into a bunch of ficlets based on the songs... I'm overreaching and can't even make a good cover for any of the ones I have an idea for fffff

Uh, hi. Been a while since I posted anything on here. Been playing a loooot of Tactics Ogre One Vision lately. As one does. I've warmed up somewhat on some of the plot decisions made towards the endgame of the main plot but that doesn't mean I have to love it. Also I think if the game had a bigger fanbase there'd be Jeunan/Sherri fic but like, I'm not on Law route so there's no Jeunan so don't believe me. The best ship is Catiua/Andoras, anyhow, but don't take my word for it either.

Anyway like the title says I made a Letterboxd account just to catalogue personal recommendations... what I do or don't put on there is at my discretion, the only qualification being if I would happily recommend it (with or without caveats) to others or not. So stuff I don't have much to think about after the fact, even if they're objectively well-done, unfortunately won't be on there. Of course I could have just revamped my site's media recs page and do everything manually but no, this is the stopgap measure for now. Also I don't know how to rate anything by stars. Just ignore them. Seriously.

Anyway, watch Special Bulletin (1983). It's on youtube!!!

I've played the prologues to Legend of the Door like three times at this point and I think I will do it a fourth time just to feel something.

I play pokemon romhacks on my phone sometimes and lately (as in the past 3 months go), it's been Pokemon Quarantine Crystal - consistently. I think the devs explain the game better than I could, but I'll try. Note: I have only completed (pretty substantially, including side quests and exploring out-of-the-way areas, but excluding completing the dex) the Johto portion of the journey. I have not visited Kanto to do the 4 gyms currently available and whatever side quests happen in Kanto.

Now that that's over with...

But wait, there's just one last thing! I also played the One Vision romhack of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. I have my own opinions on the writing and characters in the game (which this patch did not change because it's not the point of the hack), but gameplay-wise, I LOVE the One Vision changes. It's challenging, it's still over-the-top tedious in some places (like the original game), BUT it scratches my itch of experimentation between different classes, my menu-ing obsession, and of course, my repressed longing for spreadsheets documenting which fairy in floor #69 of the Palace of the Dead drops the lute you wanted so much.
